Ladies Hockey

Similar to our men’s section, our ladies have some vibrant history, and offer two teams in which you can participate in, both sponsored by Allmec Engineering and Cantilever Cars. The ladies also train 8-9m every Thursday evening.
The ladies section currently takes pride in its structure, unity and togetherness in supporting one another in both teams, ensuring balanced teams and chances to develop.

Ladies 1st Team
The ladies 1st team have pioneered female hockey in the Warrington, and northwest area for decades, and has been the blueprint for many other local clubs to follow.

Our 1st team currently plays in Northwest Division 4 South (Central), offering a competitive level of hockey at a local level.

Captain’s Comments: “We’re a competitive set of girls that enjoy representing Warrington Town. We always help each other out both on and off the pitch. Our main aim is to keep improving.”

Ladies 2nd Team
The ladies 2nd team has often been our most popular team at the club! A social hub of lovely girls, all keen to improve, play, take part and enjoy the sport. The ladies 2nd team really embody what the sport should all be about and set the example for conduct at the club!

Our 2nd team currently plays in Northwest Division 5 South (Central), offering mixture of competitive and developmental games.

Captain’s Comments: “We’re Team Fun! We're a fun social team, perfect for those who are just starting or getting back into hockey. I mainly see the second team as having a laugh, nothing too serious and just good exercise with a sprinkle of competitiveness, having a good runabout on a Saturday”
