WSC has so much more to offer than just sport and fitness. The comfortable Members’ Bar provides a great atmosphere in which to enjoy a quiet drink and the diversity of our membership ensures that there will always be an interesting character to talk to. In 2005, the club won ‘Regional Club of the Year 2005, presented by Cask Marque Acre giving testimony that this is a really great place to be.

The bar stocks a wide range of beers, wines and spirits, priding itself on a broad selection of cask brewed ales, winning us a listing within the Good Beer Guide. The younger members are also catered for with a choice of soft drinks and confectionery on offer behind the bar. Food is regularly available during the week and throughout the weekend, with a choice of meals and hot/cold snacks available from the Club’s kitchen.

With a buoyant social calendar organised by a broad range of sports teams and individual club members, there is a colourful array of events organised throughout the year. Recent successes have included Casino evenings, Caberet Nights, wine and gourmet evenings and Sportsmans dinners. 

The summer months allow for more outdoor pursuits and BBQ’s provide the perfect opportunity to take in our summer sports. A host of bands regularly play at the club and other events include quiz evenings, disco’s and karaoke’s.

Although you don’t need to have an excuse, why not just pop in for a drink and enjoy watching digitally enhanced pictures of the latest sport, shown live on the big screens

2008 will see the 40th anniversary of Warrington Sports Club and various events will be held throughout the year to commemorate this milestone. May will see a Past and present players Cricket and Rugby challenge followed by a BBQ and a Gala Ball.
