Warrington Sports Club provides a Centre of Excellence for cricket and we are proud to boast that we are a named a focus club for the region. We have been accredited with the prestigious Club Mark by the Cheshire County League. 2007 saw the 1st team promoted to division one of the Cheshire league. Our two cricket pitches are regarded as some of the finest in the league.
We have produced two England players George Duckworth and John Crawley, both of whom played for England, Lancashire and Warrington. Presently, we are proud to boast members that represent Cheshire.
We have four teams, who play league games on a weekend, an over 40’s team who practice on a Wednesday evening and a Buccaneers team, our social team, who play when there are no league fixtures on a Sunday.
Practice nets are held at Lymm High School on Sunday afternoons between 2.00 – 4.00 pm.
