Friday May 22nd sees the start of something new, something big and something very exciting at Warrington Sports Club (WSC) – the first 300 Club Race Night. The 300 Club is WSC primary fund raising arm and we have ambitious goals for 2009 which include new all weather, floodlit training facilities for rugby, cricket and hockey, new cricket nets and brand new floodlit tennis courts. £15 per year is all it costs to become a 300 Club member, this guarantees you entry to 3 quarterly prize draws, plus entry to the annual prize draw which guarantees the winner £1000. If you have experienced a race night before then you will know just how much fun is in store on Friday May 22nd. The 10 race card kicks off at 7:30 with the Grade 2 Chilicube.com stakes and finishes at 10:30 with the Grade 1 Groundlevel derby.
This event is to help raise money for new and improved all weather training facilities and you can contribute in one of three ways:
- Become a 300 Club member – see the bar staff and join today
- Become a racehorse owner for an evening
- £1 guarantees you entry into the ballots for the nights two handicaps
- £2.50 guarantees you entry into the ballots for the nights two handicaps plus the nights two listed races
- £5 guarantees you entry to 9 races and a chance to win an original piece of art worth over £200 from up and coming local artist Terry Spall – visit Chilicube.com today
- Just turn-up and use your wits to back winners. Cash bets will be taken, totaliser odds will be published and cash prizes will be awarded.
